  • Save 112 and one trusted person as favourites you can dial fast.
  • Keep your phone charged; carry a power bank when you can.
  • Share your live location with someone you trust when you move.
  • Keep some cash and a photo of your ID separate from your bag.
  • Know the safe stops on your route: police post, hospital, filling station, bank.
  • Trust your instinct. If a place or person feels wrong, leave.
  • If you are followed, head to a crowded, lit place and call 112.
